Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 7.  Students began by reviewing the simplification of expressions through combining like terms, as well as finding GCFs of a set of integers.  Next, students were introduced to multiplying binomials. Students were shown four methods of multiplying binomials, including the distributive method, the vertical method, the table method and the FOIL method.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page 369 # 2, 3-17 odds, 28, 34, 40, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities. Students were then jumped back into the concept of direct variation.  Students worked through several examples of how to show whether the data shows direct variation through proportionality.  After some teacher led instruction and several more example problems, students were assigned Workbook page 110 that will be due on Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #37 is due Wednesday in class.  Workbook page 110 will be due on Tuesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students then were given all of class time to continue working on their Osmosis Jones summary essay.  The essay will be due in class on Tuesday.

Assignments: Students should be finalizing their Osmosis Jones summary essay, which is due on Tuesday in class.
