7th Grade Math:  Today in math, students began class with the problem of the day, before transitioning into the days activities.  We graded the 1.3 worksheet that was homework on Monday night.  Next, we jumped into section 1.4 on comparing and ordering integers and took notes in Cornell fashion.

Assignments:   Review Homework #4 is due Wednesday.  Section 1.4 worksheet is also due on Wednesday.

8th Grade Math:  Today in math, students began with the do now.  We transitioned back into section 1.1 from the book and continued taking Cornell notes on writing and evaluating variable expressions.  We identified key vocabulary, defined the terms and practiced several examples problems.

Assignments:  Review Homework #4 is due Wednesday.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the do now, before being introduced to the next project, the Local Ecology Project.  This project will be a school year long group project, where assigned groups of students will be evaluating and observing a one meter square plot of land surrounding our school.  Students were broken into groups and then within their groups, they assigned themselves roles and named their groups.

Assignments:  None.
