7th Grade Math:  Today in math, students began class with the problem of the day, before transitioning into the days activities.  Students continued taking notes on the coordinate plane, completing several examples before getting some time to complete the 1.8 worksheet.  We will be having our Chapter 1 TEST on MONDAY October 1st!  Study hard over your four day weekend!

Assignments:   The section 1.8 worksheet is due on Monday.  The chapter 1 test will also be on MONDAY!

8th Grade Math:  Today in math, students began class with the problem of the day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 1, and today we covered the order of operations to solve expressions.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems that all students completed, they were assigned the 1.3 worksheet for next Monday.

Assignments:   Section 1.3 worksheet is due on Monday.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the do now, before we had a class discussion on what makes a good question, and how it may be testable.  Students were then asked to read a section from our Bacteria To Plants textbook, and answer the review questions given to them on a worksheet.   If students had any time left over in the class period, they could begin identifying the plant samples they collected from their group plots these last two days.

Assignments:  The What is Life? review worksheet will be due on Monday.
