7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students went to the library to check out their at home text books for the school year.  They will be expected to return the book back to the library at the end of the school year.  This textbook is expected to stay at home, so students will not need to haul a textbook back and forth from school.  We then transitioned back into grading and reviewing the pre course tests.

Assignments:  Review Homework #1 was handed out to students today and will be due first thing Wednesday morning in class.

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, we jumped back into our discussion on the elements of design, or C.R.A.P. (contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity).  After briefly reviewing what each element means and showing and finding examples of each from within the classroom, students were released to find their own examples of each element of design from magazines.  Students will have until the beginning of class on Thursday to complete the CRAP Activity Practice.

Assignments:  Students can be finding examples of contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity in newspapers, magazines, or on the internet to contribute to their CRAP practice activity.  Students should also be looking for images that represent Physical Science to bring into class by Thursday afternoon.
