7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and a simple word problem to get them started, before all students participated in a "get to know your classmates" activity.  Students were then asked to begin working on the Pre-course test.

Assignments:  Review Homework #1 is due Wednesday in class.

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students learned about the different branches of science in order to help them associate the activity they participated in this summer with a branch of science.  Students are expected to write two paragraphs about an activity they participated in this summer that involved science.  They also need a picture of that activity to add to their final product.

Assignments:  Students have been asked to come into class on Tuesday with a paragraph written about an activity they chose for the Scientific Summer project. They are also to bring in  a picture of themselves participating in that activity or a picture that represents their chosen activity.
