HELLO And Welcome Back To School!!! 

HERE IS A SUPPLY LIST FOR MY STUDENTS IN THE COMING YEAR.
 

- A 1 inch or more 3 ring, open binder 

- 1 package of lined paper (wide or college ruled)


- 5 folders with pockets (3-hole punched)


- 1 package binder dividers


- 1 package of graphing paper


- 1 spiral bound notebook for science journal writing


- 1 box of kleenex


- Hand Sanitizer


- 1 box of pencils and/or 1 box of red pens


- Glue sticks


- Flash drive


OTHER THINGS WE COULD USE FOR CLASS


* disinfectant wipes 

Colored pencils and/or Markers

* Extra spiral Notebooks and Binders

* Extra rolls of Scotch Tape

* Correction pens or Whiteout 

Colored art paper 


8th Grade Math: Today in math students got to know a bit more about Mr. Olsen, before they were asked to share their history with math with their teacher on an assignment called "Letter to My Math Teacher." 

Assignments:  Students should be completing their "Letter to my Math Teacher" assignment if they did not complete it in the class time provided.  It is due Friday in class.  Students are also to return their signed classroom syllabus and behavior expectations form by this Monday August 25th. 

7th Grade Math: Today in math students got to know a bit more about Mr. Olsen, before they were asked to complete a jumbled multiplication table before class ended.  

Assignments:  Students are to return their signed classroom syllabus and behavior expectations form by this Monday August 25th. 

Science: Today in science students were introduced to the first project of the year, My Scientific Summer.  Students bubble mapped their summer activities in order to choose an activity that they can write about that involves science in some way.  

Assignments:  Students have been asked to come into class on Monday with an activity chosen, and a picture of themselves participating in that activity or a picture that represents their chosen activity.  Students are also to return their signed classroom syllabus and behavior expectations form by Monday August 25th.
