8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now. Students then jumped into chapter 3 and are learning about parallel lines, transversals and angles associated within. Students spent today's class period working with their table groups and completing activities 3.1 through 3.3 in their practice workbooks.
Assignments: Review Homework #29 is due Wednesday in class. Workbook pages 51-53, are due Wednesday in class.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now. Students spent today's class period learning about and working with the slope of lines. After some teacher led instruction and several examples of how to identify and find the slope of a line, students were assigned the section 4.2 Practice B worksheet, to be due Wednesday in class.
Assignments: Review Homework #29 is due Wednesday in class. The 4.2 Practice B worksheet is due Wednesday in class.
Science: Today in science, students began class with the Do Now. Students then transitioned back into chemistry. Today, students spent time in the library working with an internet interactive periodic table in order to complete a Periodic Table Scavenger Hunt worksheet. Students were also assigned the section 3.3 worksheet on Nonmetals and Metalloids. Both worksheets will be due Wednesday in class.
