Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students were introduced to chapter 5 and solving systems of linear equations through graphing.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework problems from the text book, pages 239 & 240 # 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 18, 28, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities. Students then continued working with inequalities.  Students continued solving inequalities, and today they continued solving inequalities with multiplication and division.  Students needed a bit more practice on solving one step inequalities, so students were asked to complete a One-Step Inequalities worksheet (double-sided) and given class time to begin working on it.  The worksheet will be due on Thursday in class. 

Assignments:  Review Homework #26 is due on Friday in class.  Students were assigned the One-Step Inequalities worksheet to be due Thursday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then broken into groups of two and asked to identify flavors of Jelly Belly jelly beans from a taxonomic key provided to them in class.   We will pick up on this activity on Thursday in class.
