Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems.  Next, students reviewed the idea of exponential functions, before we began talking about exponential growth and decay functions.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework problems from the textbook, page 319 #4, 5-21 odds, 38, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities. Students then jumped back into chapter 5 and continued working with ratios and proportions. Students continued working with how to write and solve proportions.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were given some class time to begin working on the section 5.3 Practice A worksheet, which will be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #32 is due Friday in class.  The section 5.3 Practice A worksheet is due Thursday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students then were reading to learn about the insides of plant and animal cells.  Students began class by defining the functions of the organelles found inside of cells, before we began reading section two of chapter one.  

Assignments: None.  Students will be heading outside to their Local Ecology Plots on Thursday during class.  Proper outdoor footwear and jackets are suggested.
