Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students took a quiz on polynomials.  We then began a discussion on factoring polynomials.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and an example problem, students were assigned some problems from the textbook, page 389 #3-8, to be due on Monday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students practiced plotting points on a coordinate plane, and calculating the slope of the line they drew.  Next, students took a quiz on proportions and finding the slope of a line.  

Assignments: Students should be completing the section 5.3 puzzle worksheet for class on Monday.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now, before students were given class time to complete the blank periodic table activity we began in class on Thursday.  The completed table will be due on Monday in class.

Assignments: Students should be completing their blank periodic table activity if they did not finish in the class time provided.
