Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped into chapter 7 and began by reviewing how to multiply binomials and trinomials and using the FOIL method, and how to recognize and use the square of a binomial pattern.  Students were then introduced to using the sum and difference pattern.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned the section 7.3 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 5 and solving were introduced to the idea of slope.  We spent some time reviewing the cross products property, before we continued working on the activities in the practice workbook, on page 103 and 104.  After some teacher led instruction, students were asked to complete the table on page 103 and page 104 to be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments: Review Homework #42 is due on Thursday in class.  The practice workbook page 103 & 104 are due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now, before we transitioned to reading to learn about the metal elements on the periodic table.  We read the section on metals together as a class, and students were answering guided learning questions and defining key vocabulary words as we read the section aloud.  The section 3.2 worksheet on Metals will be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments: Students were assigned the section 3.2 worksheet on Metals of the periodic table, which will be due on Wednesday in class.
