Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students were continuing to work with chapter 7 and polynomials.  Next, students reviewed our work with special patterns of polynomials.  Today students continued working with the Zero-Product Property.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the textbook, page 381 #4; 6; 8; 9-19 odds; 25-30; 32; 33; 35, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now, Flashmasters and/or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students reviewed factoring linear expressions using the GCF as well as factoring out the coefficient of a given expression.  Next, students continued learning to solve equations using inverse operations. After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned an in class worksheet and given the remaining 20 minutes of class time to work on it.  

Assignments:  None.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Next, we continued talking about the three methods in which cells can transfer materials into and out of the cell.  Students finished watching the film "Osmosis Jones" in class.  Students are filling out a video note-taking guide while we watch, which will help them when we finish the film and students will be writing a 1-2 page essay summarizing the film and how it connects to cells.

Assignments:  None.
