Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students were continuing to work with chapter 8 and graphing polynomials.  Students reviewed how to graph the parent function of a given quadratic equation and how that function is being transformed by different a, b and c values.  Next, students were introduced to even and odd functions and how to identify those functions.  We watched an online video on Khan Academy on even and odd functions before students were assigned the explorations from the practice workbook, pages 260-261, to be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments: Students were assigned the explorations from the practice workbook, pages 260-261, to be due on Thursday in class.
