7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were introduced to GCF's (greatest common factors).  Today students reviewed the two methods of finding the GCF of two or more numbers, before they were introduced to finding the GCF of two or more monomials.  After some teacher led instruction, and several example problems, students were assigned the section 4.2 worksheet to be due Wednesday in class.  

Assignments:  Review homework #22 is due on Wednesday.  The section 4.2 worksheet is due Wednesday in class.    

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students continued working with properties of addition and multiplication. Today students continued working with the distributive property.   After some teacher led instruction, students attempted several examples together in class, before students were assigned problems from the book, page 73 #1-19 odds.    

Assignments:  Review Homework #22 is due Wednesday in class.  Problems from the text book, page 73 #1-19 odds, will be due Wednesday in class.  

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students continued with the density lab from Monday.  Students are attempting to determine which candy bar has the most density, a snickers or a three musketeers.   

Assignments:  Students were assigned a worksheet on Measuring Matter, to be due on Wednesday.
