7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 3.  Today we continued talking about inequalities and solving inequalities by using addition and/or subtraction.  Students learned how to graph an inequality solution on a number line, and after some teacher led instruction, and a few example problems, students were assigned the section 3.4 worksheet as homework and given about 15 minutes of class time to get started.     

Assignments:  The section 3.4 worksheet is due Wednesday in class.  Review Homework #18 is due Wednesday in class.

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students began the review process for the upcoming chapter one test on Wednesday.      

Assignments:  Review Homework #18 is due Wednesday in class.  Students can expect the chapter one test on Wednesday of this week.  

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students began learning about chemistry root words, including commonly used prefixes and suffixes.  Students are currently learning and committing to memory, about 30 chemistry related root words, prefixes and suffixes.  Students spent todays class period creating flash cards from the definitions and examples they found yesterday in class.     

Assignments:  Students should be finishing up the 30 flashcards of the vocabulary words they are committing to memory for next week's test.
