Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, we transitioned into a few practice problems dealing with exponential functions.  We graded our homework from Friday, before we began working on graphing exponential equations.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned the section 6.3 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students jumped into chapter 5 and working with ratios, rates and unit rates.  Students began class by reviewing how to simplify fractions (and ratios) into simplest form, how to find unit rates and how to use ratios for form proportions.  Students were then assigned some homework from the practice workbook, pages 89-91, to be due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  We then transitioned into watching a film entitled "Hunting the Elements."  On day 2, students were filling out a video-notetaking guide while viewing the second part of the film.
