Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, we jumped back into chapter 6 and section 4 on exponential growth and decay functions.  We reviewed the growth and decay formulas we learned on Monday and went over the homework. Students were introduced to the Compound Interest formula next.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the text book, pages 320-321, #22-28 evens; 44; 54; 57-61; 64, to be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the text book, pages 320-321, #22-28 evens; 44; 54; 57-61; 64, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 5 and working with ratios, rates and unit rates.  Today, students were introduced to (or we reviewed) the coordinate plane.  We built a coordinate plane together and practiced plotting ordered pairs, before students were handed a double sided worksheet that has students identifying ordered pairs on one side and plotting ordered pairs on side two. This worksheet will be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments: Review Homework #36 is due on Wednesday in class.  The coordinate plane worksheet (side two) is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now, before we spent some class time discussing the atom and what we now know about them.  Students were then introduced to the Atomic Model Timeline activity.  Students will be researching a list of scientists who contributed to our modern knowledge of the atom and building an accordion timeline, detailing the contributions of these scientists to the atom.

Assignments:  None.
