Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students jumped right back into chapter 5, and today we were reviewing the three different methods we have covered so far in chapter 5 for solving systems of equations, through graphing, substitution, and/or elimination.  Students then began working with graphing linear inequalities with two variables.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 271 #3-15 odds; 19; 25; 27; 29; 30, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now, Flashmasters and/or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were back in chapter 2, section 2, and working with adding rational numbers.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were handed the section 2.2 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Tuesday in class. 

Assignments:  Review Homework #25 is due on Wednesday in class.  The section 2.2 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Tuesday in class. 

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were reviewing the eight levels of classification for living things.  After a bit of classroom instruction, students were handed a cut and paste levels of classification activity and given 35 minutes of class time to complete the work.

Assignments:  The Levels of Classification cut and paste activity is due on Tuesday in class.
