Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students jumped right back into chapter 5, and today we were reviewing the three different methods we have covered so far in chapter 5 for solving systems of equations, through graphing, substitution, and/or elimination.  Students were then introduced to the idea that there may be more than one solution to a given system of equations, or even no solutions.  Students were then given some class time to begin working on the explorations for section 5.4 in their practice workbooks.  Practice workbook pages 147-148 are due on Thursday in class.

Assignments: Practice workbook pages 147-148 are due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now, Flashmasters and/or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students went back to the library and we continued working with computer coding.  Students are working with Mr. Fortier, the librarian, on coding and working with Lego robotics.

Assignments:  Review Homework #24 is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were defining some key vocabulary words, and preparing for learning about how scientists classify living organisms.
