Algebra I: Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day. Students jumped back into chapter 7 and we were reviewing the rules associated with polynomials. Next, students continued factoring polynomials. Today students were learning how to factor a polynomial in the form of
ax^2 + bx + c. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned a worksheet that has students factoring polynomials using the GCF as homework, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day. Next, students were introduced to chapter 5. Today students reviewed how to write ratios and unit rates. Next, students were given class time to complete practice workbook page 89 on equivalent proportions.
Assignments: Review Homework #37 is due on Wednesday in class.
Science: Students began class with the Do Now. Next, students completed the Atomic Basics worksheet, including how to determine the number of protons, neutrons and electrons in an atom, as well as how to draw Bohr diagrams and Lewis Structures.
