Algebra I: Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day. Students jumped back into chapter 7 and we were reviewing the rules associated with polynomials. Next, students continued factoring polynomials. Today students were learning how to factor a polynomial in the form of ax^2 + bx + c where the a value is more than one and there is no GCF. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the text book page 395 #1-8; 9-15 odds, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day. Next, students were introduced to chapter 5. Today students reviewed how to write ratios and unit rates as well as how to determine if two ratios make a proportion. Next, students were given class time to complete practice workbook page 92 on equivalent proportions.
Assignments: Review Homework #37 is due on Wednesday in class.
Science: Students began class with the Do Now. Next, students were given science class time to work on their assigned animal for the Taku House March Mammal Madness activity.
