Algebra I:  Students began class by completing a warm up problem, before we jumped into practicing solving some multi-step equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign.  Today students were introduced to the concept of identities.  Equations will have one solution, no solution or infinitely many solutions.  Mr. Olsen led students through several examples where they were identifying these identities.  After some teacher led instruction, students were assigned the section 1.3 Practice B worksheet on the Canvas homepage, which is due by Friday in class.

Assignments:   Students can be accessing today's assignment of the section 1.3 Practice B worksheet on our Canvas homepage. This assignment should be submitted on Canvas by class time on Friday.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a warm up problem, before students talked a bit about what a like fraction is.  Students were then encouraged students to head over to our class Canvas page, and today's assignment on Adding and Subtracting Fractions was there waiting for students.

Assignments:  Students should be making sure that their Subtracting Like Fractions assignment and their Adding Like Fractions assignments have been uploaded to our class Canvas page by class time on Friday.

Science:  Students spent todays science class period reviewing C.R.A.P. and how to use those Elements of Design when completing a project.  Students then were using their class time to be completing their Characteristics of Life note-taking guide in order to begin building their one page digital poster on Friday in class.

Assignments: Students should have submitted their five new or interesting ideas from the Characteristics of Life video they watched on Canvas.  Students should be coming into class on Friday with their Characteristics of Life note-taking guide completed.
