Algebra I:  Students began class by completing a warm up problem, before we jumped into reviewing our homework from Friday on solving multi-step equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign.  Today students continued working with the concept of solving absolute value equations.  After some teacher led instruction, students were assigned some homework from section 1.4 in the text book page 32 #2-18 on the Canvas homepage, which is due by Thursday in class.

Assignments:   Students can be accessing today's assignment from section 1.4 in the text book (page 32 #2-18) on our Canvas homepage. This assignment should be submitted on Canvas by class time on Thursday.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a warm up problem, before students logged back into the IXL program from our Clever portals.  Students spent todays class attempting to complete the math diagnostic test on IXL.

Assignments: Students should be attempting to upload any missing assignments in powerschool onto our Canvas math page.

Science:  Students spent todays science class period being introduced to the Local Ecology Project.  Students are being asked to go outside their home, and find a small plot of land that they can return to once or twice a month to make observations and generally just notice how that plot of land changes over time.  The directions for the project were located on our Science Canvas homepage, and gave students information and direction on how to complete the tasks being asked of them.

Assignments: Students should have submitted their Characteristics of Life note taking guide on the organism they chose to research, and finalizing and submitting their Digital Poster on that research. The DIGITAL POSTER is due as soon as possible (the official due date was the end of the day on Monday 9/21/20).
