8th Grade Math: Students began class with the problem of the day before students jumped back into section 3.3 and solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign. Students were given ample class time with Mr. Olsen available to help as needed to complete the 3.3 worksheet. Once students were done with the worksheet, some extra problems from the textbook were assigned to reaffirm these new found skills.
Assignments: Please complete p. 805 #18-26. Finish the section 3.3 WS for class on Wednesday. Review HW#17 is due on Wednesday.
7th Grade Math: Today students began class with their flashmasters. We then jumped back into chapter 3 and reviewed histograms, before reviewing all five different data displays we have covered in chapter 3. We started talking about being able to apply the appropriate data display to a given data set. This is covered in the section 3.6 worksheet.
Assignments: Finish the 3.6 worksheet for class tomorrow. Review Homework #18 is due Wednesday.
Science: Today in science we had a class wide review activity. Students participated in a Jeopardy style game where we grouped up into four different groups and answered questions the Mr. Olsen read to the class.
Assignments: Students in science have a test tomorrow (Wednesday) on the Cardiovascular System.
