HERE IS A SUPPLY LIST FOR MY STUDENTS IN THE COMING YEAR.

* a 1-2 inch 3 ring binder with dividers for Science

* 1 spiral bound notebook for Math class

* 1 spiral bound notebook for science journal writing

* 1 package of lined paper (wide or college ruled)

* 1 box of kleenex

* Hand Sanitizer

* 1 box of pencils/ 1 box of pens

* Glue sticks

OTHER THINGS WE COULD USE FOR CLASS:

* disinfectant wipes

* Colored pencils and/or Markers

* Extra spiral Notebooks and Binders

* Extra rolls of Scotch Tape

* Correction pens or Whiteout 

7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the problem of the day before transitioning into the pre-course assessment.

Assignments:   Students are also to return their signed classroom and behavior expectations form by this Friday August 24th.

8th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the problem of the day before transitioning into the pre-course assessment.

Assignments:  If students did not finish the first page of the assessment (#1-26), they are to complete the front page of the assessment for Thursday.  Students are also to return their signed classroom and behavior expectations form by this Friday August 24th.

Science:  Today in science students began with the Do Now.  Then students were given the task to find examples of contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity within magazines, and glue them to a worksheet. 

Assignments:  Students have been asked to bring their planners home and go over and fill out and sign pages 34 and 35 of the student handbook with their parents or guardians and return them to Mr. Olsen by Friday morning.   Students are to return their signed classroom and behavior expectations form by this Friday August 24th.
