7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day. Next, students jumped back into probability.  Students were reminded of the probability equation we learned last week, before they were introduced to finding experimental probability, as well as the odds in favor and odds against a certain situation possibly occurring.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned the section 6.7 worksheet to be due Tuesday in class.  Students can expect the chapter 6 test on Thursday of this week.

Assignments:  Study Island Review Homework #14 is due by the end of the day on Wednesday.  The section 6.7 worksheet is due Tuesday in class.

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmasters.  Next, students were introduced to solving inequalities using addition and/or subtraction.  Students spent some time reviewing the rules of inequalities, before they were introduced to the rules associated with dividing and multiplying negative integers.

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students read chapter two section one, on the Nature of Forces.  We read the section together as a class, and students participated in a class discussion about Newton's First Law of Motion, commonly referred to as the Law of Inertia.
