8th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.   Students then completed their chapter 5 tests.  We then transitioned into chapter 6.  Students completed the Chapter 6 Fair Game Review activity in their practice workbooks, before we reviewed solving simple one step equations with decimals and fractions, before students were assigned workbook page 121, to be due on Tuesday in class. 

Assignments:  Review HW #55 is due Wednesday in class.  Workbook page 121 is due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students jumped into chapter 7 and students were introduced to writing repeating decimals as fractions.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned workbook pages 159-160 as well as the section 7.4 practice worksheet, to be due Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #55 is due Wednesday in class.  Workbook pages 159-160 as well as the section 7.4 practice worksheet, to be due Tuesday in class. 

  

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then introduced to our end of the year project, The Great Paper Roller Coaster Project.  Students then began mass producing the paper products that each group will need as we move into building these roller coasters next week.
