8th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.   Students then completed their chapter 5 tests.  We then transitioned back into chapter 6.  Students reviewed working with relations, functions and mapping diagrams and how they are used with data sets.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some problems from the text book page 261-262 # 1; 2; 6-19, to be due Wednesday in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #57 is due Wednesday in class.  Textbook pages 261-262 (#1,2, 6-19) are due Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students spent the class period reviewing and going over the formulas for the volume of cylinders.  

Assignments:  Review HW #57 is due Wednesday in class.

  

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Students then continued working on The Great Paper Roller Coaster Project.  Students are now working in assigned groups and today all groups completed their roller coaster foundations.  Some groups began putting together the features for their groups roller coasters.
