8th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.  We then transitioned back into chapter 6.  Students reviewed working with relations, functions and mapping diagrams and how they are used with data sets.  Next, students continued working with being able to identify linear and nonlinear patterns.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned to complete the section 6.4 Practice A worksheet, to be due Friday in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #58 is due Friday in class.  Section 6.4 Practice A worksheet is due Friday in class.

7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were introduced to working with exponents.  We spent time working through the chapter 10 section 1 activities and the practice worksheet in the practice workbook.   

Assignments:  Review HW #58 is due Friday in class.  The Fraction Finding Mission project has a due date of Friday May 20th.  
  
Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Students then continued working on The Great Paper Roller Coaster Project.  Students began class by discussing as a group how they envision their roller coaster to look as we begin to attach the features they have been creating all week.   Groups then continued putting together the features for their groups roller coasters.  

Assignments:  None.
