8th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.   Students then completed their chapter 5 tests.  We then transitioned back into chapter 6.  Students reviewed working with relations, functions and mapping diagrams and how they are used with data sets.  Next, students began working with being able to identify linear and nonlinear patterns.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned to complete the section 6.4 activities in their practice workbooks, pages 133-136, to be due Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Review HW #58 is due Friday in class.  Practice workbook pages 133-136 (section 6.4 activities) are due Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were introduced to their end of the year math project, the Fraction Finding Mission.  Students will be creating equations with answers equaling -10 through +10 using only rational numbers.  There is also a creative component of this project, that will have students creating an artistic aspect of their final equations.  Once students got the run down of the project expectations, they were given the remaining 20 minutes of class to begin formulating a plan of attack.
