Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students graded their homework from page 8 (#21-38) of the textbook. We then went down to get school pictures taken. When we got back to the classroom, students watched a quick video on Repetition and the importance of quality note-taking skills to bring more success in the classroom. Students were then handed a worksheet and given about 10 minutes of class time to get started on the homework, to be due Thursday in class.
Assignments: Section worksheet 1.1 Solving Simple Equations is due Thursday in class.
7th Grade Math: Class was cut short today due to school pictures. Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities. We then began working with the textbooks. Students graded their homework from Tuesday, before we ran out of class time.
Assignments: Review Homework #2 is due Friday in class.
Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now. Students were then reminded of the expectations regarding the Scientific Summer project we began last week. Students were then granted the remaining class time to finish typing both paragraphs of their Scientific Summer projects.
Assignments: Students need to be coming to class on Thursday with both paragraphs for the Scientific Summer project typed and hopefully printed. All students also need to bring their picture/image for their posters to class on Thursday.
