Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students graded their homework from Tuesday.  We then continued working with solving multi-step equations.  We answered several questions during class, before we started working with solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned

Assignments:  The problems from the text book, page 23 # 2-17 are due Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with their flashmaster activities.  We then graded our homework, the section 1.2 Practice A worksheet, before we continued learning the rules for adding integers with the same and different signs (positive and negative).  After some teacher led instruction, and reviewing the song students learned to help them remember the rules for adding and subtracting integers, students were assigned page 12 from the textbook, # 1-39, to be due Thursday in class..

Assignments: Students were asked to complete page 12 of the textbook, #1-39 for class on Thursday.

Science:  Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Students then participated in a class discussion on what observation is and how it is used in science.  We then took a walk on the trail around the school, where students picked a leaf any plant they wanted, and were responsible for writing at least 3 observations while we walked.  Students are to bring their leaf and their observations to class on Thursday.

Assignments: None.
