Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 4 and section 4.  Students began by reviewing how to write an equation from a given set of data points as well as a line on a graph.  Next, students jumped back into section 4 on scatter plots and identifying correlations in data sets.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some problems from the text book, pages 199-200 #1, 2, 3-15 odds & 22, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students transitioned into chapter 3.  Students reviewed the difference between an expression and an equation.  Next, we reviewed our knowledge of an expressions and how to identify like terms and how to identify a coefficient and a constant term, as well as how to combine like terms.  Students then continued learning to adding and subtracting expressions by applying properties of operations.  After some teacher led instruction and a few examples, students were assigned practice workbook page 50, to be due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were learning more about the discovery and organization of the periodic table.
