7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students transitioned back into chapter 3. Next, we reviewed our knowledge of identifying terms, like terms, coefficients, and constants.  Next, students spent the class period practicing solving one step equations by using multiplication or division.

Assignments: Review Homework #29 is due on Friday in class. The one step equation worksheet we began in class is due on Thursday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were broken into groups and introduced to our Taku House wide project on longhouses.  Student groups will be building a model longhouse, modeled after a local clan and included will be some artistic component, a model longhouse as well as a model simple machine that helped them build this longhouse and a few different writing components describing their work and how it connects to the project goals.

We will be having an open house event on Wednesday December 20th from 1:30 until 2:30 for parents and family members who would like to come visit with us and see the final products!
