7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class with the Do Now, and then working on their Flashmaster activities or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were introduced to chapter 2 and rational numbers.  We reviewed what rational numbers are, and how to work with fractions and decimals.  We ended class by working on ordering a mixed list of decimals and fractions.

Assignments:  Review Homework #18  is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students were given a block period to continue working on the "A Day in the Life" house project.  Students were assigned a partner from the opposite homeroom (Sheufelt/Olsen) and also assigned a country from around the world.  These assigned student groups, will be researching and putting together a poster product (among other final products) of what life is like for a 12/13 year old living in their assigned country.

The Taku House will be having an Open House event next Tuesday afternoon, November 20th. Parents and families are invited to come and sample ethnic foods and learn from our students what life may be like for children from around the world!

Assignments:  This "A Day in the Life" project is due at the end of the day on Monday November 19th.
