Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students jumped right back into chapter 4.  Next, students reviewed arithmetic sequences.  Students were then working with piecewise functions, including how to read them, graph them and write a function from a graph.  After some teacher led instruction and a brief discussion, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 222 # 3-19 odds, 23; 27, to be due on Wednesday in class.

The chapter 4 test is scheduled for Thursday morning, November 29th in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class with the Do Now, and then working on their Flashmaster activities or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were making corrections to their chapter 1 tests.   Test corrections will be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #21 is due on Wednesday in class.  

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were reading to learn about "What is Life?"  Students completed the section 1.1 readings, and were given class time to complete the section 1.1 worksheet on What is Life.

Assignments:  The section 1.1 worksheet is due on Wednesday in class if students did not complete it in the class time provided.
