Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem where they were creating a bar graph of given data.  Next, students jumped right into chapter 4.  Students were tasked with being able to write a linear equation from several different formats.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems of how to write an equation from several different perspectives, students were assigned practice workbook pages 99-100 as homework, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math, students began class with the Do Now, and then working on their Flashmaster activities or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were introduced to the rules for dividing integers (they are the same as for multiplying integers!).  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were asked to complete practice workbook pages 20-22, to be due on Thursday in class.

Students can expect the chapter 1 Test on Friday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #17 is due on Friday in class.  Students were asked to complete practice workbook pages 20-22, to be due on Thursday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students were finalizing their Bacteria Wanted poster activity within Mr. Olsen's Google Classroom site, on researching and learning about a specific type of good or bad bacteria. Students chose a specific type of bacteria and spent some  time researching information related to their chosen bacteria.  

Assignments:  This "Wanted" poster assignment is due at the end of the day on Wednesday.
