Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students were working with chapter 6 and reviewing the rules of and use of exponents.  Students began working with zero and negative exponents, and were introduced to the rules surrounding those situations.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were then assigned some homework from their textbook, page 296 #5-21 odds, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now, Flashmasters and/or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were back in chapter 2.  Today, students were reviewing their knowledge of adding, subtracting rational numbers by completing a worksheet in class by solving real world problems using addition and subtraction of rational numbers.

Assignments:  Review Homework #28 is due on Wednesday in class. 

Science:  Students did not have science class today, as the Taku House is MAPs testing.  We will not have science class again until Friday of this week.
