Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students were working with chapter 6 and reviewing the rules of and use of exponents.  Today, after grading our homework from Tuesday evening, students were introduced to exponential functions.  After a brief intro from Mr. Olsen, students were given the remaining 15 minutes of class time to begin working on the exploration activities from the practice workbook, pages 178-179, which will be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments: Students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, pages 178-179, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now, Flashmasters and/or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were back in chapter 2.  Today, students were reviewing their knowledge in preparation for the chapter 2 test scheduled for Thursday of this week.

Assignments:  Review Homework #31 is due on Friday in class.   Students can also expect the chapter 2 test on Thursday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now and answering a few questions related to microscopes.  Next, students were exploring a compound microscope and identifying, naming and explaining what each part of a compound microscope is and what it is used for.  Today students were engaged with a compound microscope lab during class.

Assignments:  None.
