Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students were working with chapter 6 and reviewing the rules of and use of exponents.  Students continued working with zero and negative exponents, as well as simplifying larger expressions and working with scientific notation.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were then assigned the 6.1 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now, Flashmasters and/or the Problem of the Day.  Next, students were back in chapter 2.  Today, students were reviewing their knowledge of multiplying and dividing rational numbers by completing a worksheet in class by solving real world problems using multiplication and division of rational numbers.

Assignments:  Review Homework #29 is due on Friday in class. 

Science:  Students did not have science class today, as the Taku House is MAPs testing.  We will not have science class again until Friday of this week.
