Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 6.  We graded our homework from Wednesday, before students began by reviewing some exponential equation solving before we jumped back into section 6.6 on Geometric Sequences.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned some homework from the textbook page 336 #3-13 odds, 15-17, 19-29 odds and 30; 37; 40, to be due on Friday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the textbook page 336 #3-13 odds, 15-17, 19-29 odds and 30; 37; 40, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students continued working with inequalities and chapter 4.  We began class with a quick review/lesson on inequality symbols and how to use them when working with number lines.  Students were then solving inequalities by using multiplication and division.  After connecting this lesson to solving equations using multiplication and division, students were completing practice worksheet on solving inequalities using inverse operations.

Assignments:  Review Homework #32 is due on Friday.  The practice worksheet we worked on in class on solving inequalities using inverse operations is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students had a class discussion on agrochemicals vs. petrochemicals as well as time to answer a few questions on a Think, Write Pair Share worksheet.   Next, students read an article on corn-based chemicals and completed their Think Write Pair Share worksheet.

Assignments: None.
