Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 6.  We graded our homework from Monday, before students began by reviewing some equation solving before we jumped into section 6.6 on Geometric Sequences.  After some teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, pages 193-194; the definitions on page 195 and page 196, to be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, pages 193-194; the definitions on page 195 and page 196, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students continued working with inequalities and chapter 4.  We began class with a quick review/lesson on inequality symbols and how to use them when working with number lines.  Students were then solving inequalities by using multiplication and division.  After connecting this lesson to solving equations using multiplication and division, students were completing practice workbook page 78 in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #32 is due on Friday.  Workbook page 78 is due on Thursday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were learning about how reading a science textbook is different than reading a novel for pleasure.  We had a class discussion on this topic as well as time to answer a few questions on a Think, Write Pair Share worksheet.

Assignments: Students should be completing the Earth digital poster google classroom assignments and/or the partnered assigned planet assignment if they did not complete them during the class time provided.
