8th Grade Math: Today in math students participated in a probability activity where they made a spinner board separated into four different colors, and competed with a class mate to complete the worksheet. They then had to calculate the theoretical and experimental probabilities of making the color green from the spinner board.

Assignments: Review Homework #24 is due Wednesday.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students continued working on their birdhouse designs. Students finished up the nailing and coloring of their birdhouses before beginning the calculations of surface area and volume of the birdhouse itself.

Assignments: Review Homework #25 is due Wednesday.

Science: Today in science students continued working in their groups while participating in the Stabilization Wedges Game. Students came up with and agreed upon seven different strategies that each will save one billion tons of carbon emissions per year, in order to save a total of seven billion tons of carbon emissions over the course of a year. Each group then presented their findings to their classmates, and explained why they chose the strategies they did choose and the challenges associated with each.
