8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the problem of the day before we graded the 1.1 worksheet as class. We then transitioned into section 1.2 on powers and exponents. Mr. Olsen then led students through some instruction and example problems.
Assignments: Review Homework #2 will be due on Friday.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class by using their flashmasters. We then graded the 1.1 worksheet as a class before transitioning into section 1.2 on evaluating variable expressions. Students were introduced to the concepts of variables and expressions, and did several example problems as a class.
Assignments: Review Homework #2 will be due on Friday.
Science: Today in science students had the entire class period to put together their scientific summer posters. Students combined their research and visual aides that they found on the internet and and began building their final projects.
Assignments: Students can be finishing up their scientific summer projects if they did not finish in the class time provided.
