8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the problem of the day before we transitioned into the order of operations. We reviewed what the students already know about the order of operations, before Mr. Olsen introduced a few example problems and challenged students solve them.

Assignments:
Review Homework #3 is due on Friday.

7th Grade Math:
Today in math students began class by using their flashmasters. We then moved back into powers and exponents and reviewed the rules introduced yesterday, before we practiced some examples together. Students were then handed the section 1.3 worksheet and given 25 minutes of class time to complete the assignment.

Assignments:
Students are to complete the section 1.3 worksheet if they did not finish in the time provided in class. Review Homework #3 is due on Friday.

Science: Today in science students continued making observations in a lab setting. Today's activity had students observing two separate substances and drawing two pictures of what they see, and listing ten written observations for each substance. To wrap up the lesson, students were to then compare and contrast the two substances, with ten similarities and ten differences.

Assignments:
None.
