8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the problem of the day before we jumped back into the text book and continued talking about powers and exponents. After a bit of review, students were handed a worksheet and given 30 minutes of class time to complete it.

Assignments:
Section 1.2 worksheet is due Wednesday.

7th Grade Math:
Today in math students began class by using their flashmasters. We then jumped back into section 1.2 from the text book and continued talking about variables and expressions. After a bit of review, students were handed the 1.2 worksheet and given about 30 minutes of class time to complete the assignment.

Assignments:
Section 1.2 worksheet is due Wednesday.

Science:
Today in science students were introduced to the concept of observation within a science experiment. Today students observed raisins in a glass of clear soda. Students began by making a hypothesis of what they thought was going to happen, before actually participating in the experiment. Students were to write as many observations as possible in the time frame given.

Assignments:
None.
