7th Grade Math:  Today in math students began class by using their flashmasters.  Next, students completed the chapter 5 test.

Assignments:  Review homework #14 is due Wednesday.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students participated in a class discussion on animal adaptions and we applied those lessons to our activity.  Students were asked to create their own alien that is able to live on the moon.  They were given a Moon Information sheet and asked to pull some knowledge they gained from the "Direct from the Moon" film we watched last week, to come up with several adaptions that their alien utilizes to live on the moon.

Assignments:     Students should be completing their alien write up and drawing for class on Wednesday.

FYI:  Parents!  Starting on Monday (10/31, the first day of the second quarter), teachers in the Aurora house will no longer accept late work from our students.  Students will get credit for the work they do, when it is due.
