Assignments: Review Homework #16 is due Wednesday in class.
8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the problem of the day. Next, students jumped back into chapter one. Today students reviewed the rules associated with adding integers with the same signs, and different signs, as well as adding opposites. We then began talking about multiplying and dividing integers. We spent the majority of class discussing and practicing the rules of multiplying or dividing with the same and different signs.
Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now. Next, students reflected on the "Chasing Ice" film we watched last week. We also spent some time discussing how glaciers form and the importance of glaciers to the world we live in.
Assignments: Our science classes will be taking a field trip to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Mr. Sheufelt's class will be going to the glacier on Tuesday and Mr. Olsen's class will visit the glacier on Wednesday.
