7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped right back into chapter 3.  We began class by reviewing the rules of signs as well as how to solve two step equations.  We then started solving equations by using the distributive property, and combining like terms before solving.  After some teacher led instruction, and several example problems, students were assigned the section 3.2 worksheet for homework.     

Assignments:  The section 3.2 worksheet is due Friday in class.  Review Homework #15 is due Friday in class.

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the problem of the day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter one.  Today students reviewed the rules associated with adding integers with the same signs, and different signs, as well as adding opposites.  We then began talking about subtracting integers.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned the section 1.6 worksheet as homework.  

Assignments:  Students were assigned the section 1.6 worksheet on subtracting integers to be due Friday in class.  Review Homework #15 is due Friday in class. 

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students continued viewing the film "Chasing Ice".  Students are responsible for filling in a note-taking guide as they view the film.
