7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped right into chapter 3.  We began class by reviewing the quiz on simplifying expressions students took on Tuesday.  We then jumped into taking notes on solving equations using the distributive property.    

Assignments:  Review Homework #15 is due Friday in class.

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the problem of the day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter one.  Today students reviewed the rules associated with adding integers with the same signs, and different signs, as well as adding opposites.  We then began talking about subtracting integers.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned problems from their at home text books, page 36 #1-10, to be due Thursday in class.

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students began viewing the film "Chasing Ice".  Students are responsible for filling in a note-taking guide as they view the film.
